主題および達成目標
Students who want to take this class should contact me by email by 12 noon, April 9. Please contact me as soon as possible.
The objective of this class is to develop students' ability to use spoken academic English (for discussion and for presentation) and written academic English (for essay writing).
Eigo-Enshu classes are designed to help students further develop as autonomous learners, critical thinkers, and global users of English. Through the various themes/topics, genres, and/or language skills covered in the Eigo-Enshu classes, students are provided with opportunities to strengthen their mastery of English according to their individual learning needs and goals. Class activities and teaching materials are chosen and designed by individual teachers as shown in the course outline and weekly schedule below.

前もって履修しておくことが望ましい科目
There are no recommended prerequisites, but the class is designed for students who thought that the first-year required English classes were too easy. If you did not think that those classes were too easy, then you should not take this class. Also, if you are familiar with CEFR, this class is designed for students who are at B2 or higher. For TOEIC Listening and Reading, this means a score of at least 785.
