The main objective of this class is to develop students' ability to communicate in English in order to increase confidence and competency in their speaking abilities. Students will practice making presentations, holding discussions, participating in questions and answer sessions, as well as giving impromptu speeches.

Students are expected to spend about one hour each week preparing for the upcoming class, as well as reviewing materials from the previous lesson. There will also be a group project that will be prepared outside of class.

Group project (including comments and feedback) = 40%
Presentations = 25%
Active class participation = 20%
Homework and preparation for class = 15%

This class will be taught entirely in English.
Students are required to attend the first class session. Students who miss the first day without prior approval must first contact the instructor for permission to join the class.
