★この科目は3年次編入留学生向けに開講しています。

・日本文化について知識を整理し、見識を鍛える。
The students should put their knowledge of Japanese culture in order and develop insights.
・自文化と日本文化の比較考察を通じ、文化の多様性と共通性を認識する。
Comparing each student's own culture and Japanese culture, the students should become aware of the diversity and the common points of cultures.
・文化という切り口から社会の諸事象を理解する態度を養う。
The students cultivate the attitude to understand various social phenomenon through the cultural viewpoints.

Referential materials would be introduced occasionally.

各学生がそれぞれ日本文化に関するテーマを設定して、研究を進めます。
その過程と成果を授業で発表します。
中間レポートと期末レポートを提出します。
研究の進み具体に応じて、上記の発表・レポート以外の課題が課されることがあります。
Each student sets up a theme concerning Japanese culture and pursue research.
The process and the result of the research should be presented in class respectively.
Also should the mid-term report and the final report be submitted.
Other assignments than those mentioned above might be imposed in accordance with the research progress.

授業で話題とするトピックについて関心を持ち、関連する情報を広く探索して
ください。(予習の要点)
Please be interested in the topics dealt with in class and explore related information widely. (Point of the preparation)
意見交換時や発表後の様々なコメントに基づいて、さらに深く日本文化が理解で
きるように知識を増やしたり考察を深めたりしてください。(復習の要点)
Please increase the knowledge and deepen the thoughts in order to understand Japanese culture, based on the various comments in class you would get in the discussion and after the presentation. (Point of the review)

質疑応答・授業への積極的関与 (Discussion in class, Motivated participation):20%
(欠席、遅刻が多い場合、評点を減じる。(The score points would reduce by frequent absences or late comings.))

レポート・課題の提出と、授業で研究過程報告および研究成果発表を行うことが必須です。
Submission of reports and assignments, mid-term presentation and final presentation are indispensable.
自分の研究テーマに関して、正確な知識を得ていること、適切に自文化との比較が行えていることが、最低達成基準となります。
The minimum level of achievement is that the student, on the research theme, has accurate knowledge and can compare appropriately student's own culture and Japanese culture.
不適切な引用によるレポート・課題は認めません。
Quotation in inappropriate manner in the reports or the assignments will be never admitted.

授業への取り組みも、発表やレポートの充実度も厳しく評価します。
The evaluation is severely done by both the serious efforts in class and the fulfillment of the presentations and the reports.

Discussion among the students in class would serve you to improve the knowledge, insights and good sense.
