This class aims at reviewing the basic features of LCR circuits you have learned at undergraduate and further understanding how to behave as linear systems. The relationship between analog and digital system, the basic concepts of various filter designs, oscillation circuits and PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) will also be learned.

Comprehensive evaluation will be based on the submission of irregular assignments and final reports.
Evaluation Criteria
1. To be able to understand the properties of LCR circuits and their analysis methods.
2. To be able to understand the fundamental circuit theorem and general properties of linear circuit systems.
3. To be able to understand the relationship between analog and digital systems and Delta-Sigma modulation schemes.
4. The student should be able to understand the principles of oscillation circuits. 5.
5. To understand the principle of PLL.
Students will be required to submit a final report on each of the above items 1-3, 4, and 5, and failure to submit any of them will result in rejection of the course.
A grade of "acceptable" or higher will be given when the total score of the irregular assignments and each final report assignment is 60% or higher.
